The PHAT WMG is the new Chambers Custom line up of 2019 widebody guns. Available in several models, these guns push the envelope by offering the end user the highest performance in both reliability and accuracy while still maintaining some of the classic styling that Joe Chambers has been known for throughout his career.

So what does PHAT WMG mean? Pretty Hot And Tempting Working Mans Gun…that’s it. It is, in our opinion, the ultimate pistol for duty, carry or sport for those wanting more bullets. It provides the mechanical advantage of the venerable 1911 system as well as the high capacity of many of the polymer guns of “today”.

All the PHAT WMG’s are built on the same 2019 frames as the Professional Series ™ guns. This means they benefit from the geometry changes Joe made to his frames over other designs. These benefits include parts longevity, softer shooting, more accurate and ultimate reliability. Each PHAT WMG is fired with a minimum of 500 rounds before shipping because we believe in proving our products before they leave the shop.

All four models are available in 9mm or .38super in any color you like as long as it’s matte black. These guns are limited in availability each year because Joe doesn’t believe in promising more than his guys can deliver. What that really means is there will only be 25-30 of them built each year!

Joe considers this to be a premier carry gun for the person desiring the ultimate in mechanical advantage plus the addition of more rounds, all in a manageable package.

PHATWMG-CRG

Like the “C” model, this gun is a commander length slide. The main difference is the grip body has been heavily modified for carry. The molded in magwell extension is gone as is the front corner of the trigger guard. The grip also features a bobbed backside for easier concealability. The CRG is the ultimate carry gun for those that want maximum concealability while still having the mechanical advantages of a Chambers Custom pistol coupled with double stack magazines.

The PHAT WMG’s come with either buried and protected adjustable rear sight or the Chambers Custom RDSM plate and backup sights standard.
